Church Office Hours this Month

Due to several appointments and health issues, the office hours during this month might be different than normal. As much as she is able, Pam will post hours each week in the bulletin. If you call the office and get the answering machine, please leave a message and Pam will return your call.  Thank you for understanding.

SUMMER LUNCHEON

JULY 16, 12:00 p.m.

Remember to mark your calendars for the Summer Luncheon! This year PRUMC is hosting Tanya Hanson, a Death Doula and Death Educator as our guest speaker.

PRUMC ladies who contribute salads, please plan to donate two this year so the number of attendees doesn’t outnumber the cooks and the food! A “salad sign up” sheet and RSVP date is on the back table in the sanctuary.

Walking Tacos June 28

Our Walking Tacos event during Summerfest was a great success.  Thank you to all who helped out!

Joy of the Month

14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.

Psalm 139:14 NKJV

Scripture:  Always with Jesus…

I can never escape from your Spirit!
    I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are there;
    if I go down to the grave, you are there.

If I ride the wings of the morning,
    if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
    and your strength will support me.

Psalm 139:7-10 NLT

 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39 NLT

 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”  John 14:1-4 NIV

“…And so shall we ever be with the Lord.”  1 Thessalonians 4:17b

 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.  John 17:3 NKJV
